Creating conversation around men’s health
Each June, Men’s Health Week is a key opportunity for the men’s health organisation Healthy Male to highlight the challenges men face in prioritising their health and share resources and activities to encourage them to make changes for better wellbeing.
For their 2024 campaign, we developed a comprehensive end-to-end initiative encouraging blokes to adopt manageable, achievable, sustainable habits to improve health outcomes. The ‘Good Health Heroes’ concept championed the six most effective health habits for men. Healthy Male and their campaign partners activated it across social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and offline activations.

The Challenge
Research shows that building men’s health literacy and empowering health-seeking behaviours positively impacts all areas of society, yet public conversation and investment is often lacking due to the difficulty of activating men around health. To counteract this, we needed to leverage the cultural moment around Men’s Health Week 2024, sparking conversation and action from men and their communities.
Our approach
Breaking from previous years, the 2024 campaign took a broader approach, addressing multiple health topics—physical activity, nutrition, risk-taking, sleep, connection, and education. To create cohesive key messaging that resonated with our target audience, we developed the core concept of the 'Good Health Heroes’. Branding was developed to complement Healthy Male's visual identity while ensuring shareability as a stand-alone campaign.
What we delivered
As part of our comprehensive strategy, the Good Health Heroes campaign was implemented across social media, paid advertising, offline activations and email marketing. Recognising the importance of a centralised hub for campaign information, we also designed and developed a user-friendly microsite. Tapping into interactive elements, we developed a online quiz to engage users and encourage men to prioritise their health.
The impact
Generating over 3 million impressions on Healthy Male’s social channels, our marketing efforts maximised the campaign's reach, sparking conversation and highlighting available resources for improving men’s health through accessible habit-building.
